Semenjak diperkenalkan pertama kali tahun 2017 lalu Mitsubishi Xpander langsung mencuri perhatian, dimana mobil LMPV besutan Mitsubishi ini langsung menjadi idola dan juga menawarkan konsep desain baru. Tekukan bodi desain aksen detail bodi mobil ini serba meruncing seperti area LED DRL, tekukan grill dan aera lampu belakang.
Salah satu yang membedakan mobil ini dibandingkan dengan LMPV lainnya saat 2017 lalu adalah desain semi floating roof pda pilar D. Kemudian bagian belakang ada semacam spoiler dan pada bagian atasnya terpasang sharkfin atena yang memberikan kesan sporty pada mobil ini.
Mobil ini menggunakan velg dual tone yang modern, kemudian lampu depan terpasang di area bumper dengan muka depan bergaya Dynamic Shield yang menjadi trademark Mitsubishi untuk deretan mobil andalannya.
