Yamaha secara resmi memperkenalkan varian baru maxy scooter andalannya yakni All New Yamaha NMAX 155 2020. Dari sisi desain memang garis desain masih mempertahankan identitas desain yang sama dengan versi sebelumnya. Lampu depan memiliki shape yang identik dengan mempertahankan teknologi LED namun memiliki aksen yang mempermanis di dalam reflektor. dan lampu sein terpasang di bagian samping fairing yang lebih kebawah.
Bagian belakang memiliki dengan yang totaly berbeda, menggunakan desain terpisah dan menggunakan lampu LED dan lampu sein menggunakan bohlamp. Speedometer menggunakan teknologi digital dan edanya dilengkapi dengan fitur Y-Connect untuk dikoneksikan dengan smartphone dengan bluetooth untuk mengambil beberapa informasi seperti Odometer, peringatan ganti oli, peringatan ganti vbelt, rataan konsumsi BBM, Parking Location, Tacometer yang semuanya bisa diakses dari ponsel.
Ngomongin peforma, basis pegembangan All New Yamaha NMAX 155 2020 menggunakan basis dari Yamaha Aerox dimana mesin Aerox menggunakan teknologi paling mutakhir lengkap dengan SMG (Smart Motor Generator) yang memanfaatkan generator AC sebagai starter untuk menyalakan motor. Dan mounting mesin motor ini terpasang di bagian bawah mesin berbeda dengan NMAX pertama yang berada di atas mesin.
